After reviewing the minutes from the last meeting, we discussed some of the details for the Youth Peacemaker Training 2009.
1. Evaluations: How should evaluations be done? There will be notes taken during the event on opinions of attendees. There will also be the option of a written evaluation.
2. The schedule was reviewed and it was decided to discuss the delegation of tasks, lunch, and the arrangement of workshops at the next meeting.
3. It was decided to plan a pre-YPT meeting with the finalizations of individuals’ projects. Contact must be made with those in the workshop to arrange this date. (estimated date is some time during the 2nd week of April)
4. Advertising: A facebook event will possibly be done by Sarah. Lily has made up flyers. An article should be done for the late March/ Early April Newsletter describing when and where the event will take place. There will be a movie and pizza night on Saturday April 4th at 6:30pm in order to advertise for the YPT. A discussion will possibly be held afterwards discussing the nonviolence in the movie and what is means to be a peacemaker. Robert will bring movies to look over next meeting.
5.Possible speakers: Alex Lotoro(Muhlenberg), Grace Paleo(Moravian), Peter Crownfield, or Karen Dolan.
The next meeting has yet to be planned.
